[T-effector cell]
Also: effector T-cells (abbr. also Teff cells). This term is used frequently for populations of T-cells with cytolytic activities and for T-helper cells, which secrete cytokines and activate and direct other immune cells, todistinguish them from another class of T-cells known as regulatory T-cells. See also: T-cells.
